Presentation
The secret of the Gipuzkoa's regions showing at the Basque Coast can be found in different places. Some people think that it lies in the character of the towns with views over the sea: Hondarribia, Pasaia, Donosita-San Sebastián, Orio Zarautz, Getaria, Zumaia, Deba and Mutriku. Others think that the secret is purely chromatic and that it lies in the combination of colours: the shades of the beaches plus the blue of the powerful Cantabrian Sea and the green of the mountains looking over it. Anyway, other people are convinced that it lies in the irresistible gastronomic offer, although the qualities of txakoli and grilled fish cannot be considered secrets.
Other theories say that that secret that turns the walks through Debabarrena, Urola-Kosta, Donostialdea, Oarsoaldea and Bidasoa-Txingudi into a specially intense experience is hidden in people. Or in the historical-artistic heritage. Or in the charming museums. Or in the comfortable beaches. Or in the spectacular cliffs. Or in the fishing ports. Or in the old quarters. Or in the rural valleys and natural parks. Or in that spot in which the visitor is sure that he has discover a secret.
